For example, if you wanted to see Google's cert:
```bash
nmap -p 443 --script ssl-cert google.com
```
Google's cert has a lot of wildcards that cover many of their subdomains. Other certs call out specific names.
```bash
nmap -p 443 --script ssl-cert easyeasyspeakeasy.com
```
Look for names that sound like an entrance.
